OUR FOUNDER
Corina M. Garcia, Esq.
My name is Corina M. Garcia, Esq. and I am not your typical entertainment lawyer. I am a grassroots community organizer, youth mentor, and civil rights advocate, utilizing all of my gifts to inspire and protect artists as an entertainment lawyer.
While I grew up immersed in creativity and integrity, I also observed the need for justice. Witnessing my family endure the weight of generational violence, poverty, mass incarceration, and limited opportunity, lit a fire in me -- a fire to fight for others caught in those same cycles.
Through it all, my grandparents nurtured my imagination, humor, creative spirit, and fierce commitment to integrity. They taught me to fight for what’s right, even when it means standing alone. And, at every stage of my life, creative expression has always been my vehicle for survival, healing, and radical change. For me, Justice and Art are personal, and integrity is non-negotiable.
Before launching CMG Firm, I spent over 15 years working in political strategy and advocacy, high impact civil rights litigation, and criminal defense trials. Additionally, I held legal and administrative roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment, CBS Television Studios, Twentieth Century Fox Television, and the Masters Media Group, supporting scripted content across film, television, and music.
Today, I advise musicians, producers, writers, filmmakers, and other storytellers on everything from entertainment industry strategy to contract negotiation and content production —blending legal acumen with a deep understanding of creative workflows. Whether drafting a contract or stepping in to resolve a pre-trial dispute that requires creative common sense, I bring a uniquely holistic perspective to my legal practice.
At CMG Firm, our mission is to help you create by protecting you and your intellectual property - One work at a time.
